if you have higher voltage drop then it means that your power resistor is higher than 0,4 Ohm or your have corroded contatct there.

I figured that should be the problem as well although I can't identify the problem. Then I can only rely on the measuring result and keep looking for the problem.

What is your opinion on the vacuum line bypassing the vacuum actuator switch?

Hi Anton,

do you habe A/C installed? If it is deactivated then it is correct to do so. This switch stops ignition retard if A/C is switched on.

Indeed I have a deactivated AC (like many USA R107's). So it concentrates my problem mainly to the ignition.
