Volvo 1800 ES

I am Glenn from New Mexico, USA.  I recently restored a 1973 Volvo P1800 that had not been driven much during the last 30 years.  The D-Jetronic has been a challenge but it is working well now with replacement injectors, elimination of many vacuum leaks as well as idle bypass and fuel pressure adjustments.

I look forward to presenting questions and comments regarding the D-Jetronic, which I am now appreciating very much.  In 1975, my family had a 1972 Volvo 144 with the same system.  Fuel was different then as it was leaded and had no alcohol.  Since then, I have had two K-Jetronic Volvos and two L-Jetronic Volvo 240 models also.  The D-Jet is amazing, with smooth running and good fuel economy after almost 50 years.
