Hello Everyone,
I'm Raven and I live in Arizona, USA.
About 6 months ago I picked up a running 1974 450sl with 120k miles on it for $2500.
It's been running great until it didn't (I'll put more info regarding that in a separate thread).
I've joined the forum to learn more about the D'Jetronic fuel injection.

Hi Raven,
welcome with your brother of my 450SL. I have just used my 450SL to present a D-Jetronic workshop last Saturday on Mercdes-Benz's biggest Oldtimer meeting. Mine is not reimported from US like most of the 450SL in Germany, it is reimported from Switzerland. The advantage is a better engine and - please forgive - a nicer bumper. We have a nickname for American bumpers in Germany: Thiose cars are called Mursis after the famous black people tribe in Africa that insert wooden disks in their lips.
Don't get teased, your car looks nice on the picture attached and the price is unbeatable. For a good 450SL you can now pay 10 times as much in Germany.
We will surely sort out your problems.
