Letter E sticker on MPS

Volker, do you know what the circular stickers on an MPS mean? For example a letter E?

'E' means 'Europe'
'A' means 'America'

There are other markings (red dots, blue dots) that have to be noticed - they stand for the combinability of the components ECU / MPS.
But color does not have to match in all cases - Volker describes the combinations in the compendium.

Thanks Norbert - That makes sense!

And white stands for 280 M110 engine. She needs the blue E version. However I would not rely on a sticker. She needs a MAP sensor 0280100112. That is rare compared to this version you have taken photo of.

ANd those stickers are all mentioned in Appendix A MB components

That picture was just an example off the internet to illustrate which sticker I was referring to.

A parts car has been located in Australia that has correct ECU but number of MPS (with E) still to be confirmed. But more than likely correct one.
