I have struck NOS Djet gold!

Hello Dr. Djet and others,
Lance Smart here from Australia.
I have the opportunity of purchasing, for a very fair price, a set of genuine NOS Djet injectors to suit my W114 280E. They are still in Bosch packaging, including the plastic wrapping and have never been fitted to a car. They were purchased about a year or two ago by the seller and are about 18 years old, although this is not certain. The part number is 0 280 150 035.
My question is, what is your opinion regarding purchasing these? Should I be wary because they are old, or can I rely on the injectors performing as expected even though they have sat around for a long time? Your opinion would be very much appreciated.

I also recently bought some green NOS injectors and I have plenty of yellow ones. They are very good and as long as they were never used you can install them and go ahead.

But be aware that the number is not good enough. There are copies of modern ones on the market. Connector looks slightly different and they have 3 or 4 holes instead of a needle. And they carry same Bosch no and are totally look alike. Be sure that the ones you buy have a needle. Some people also take old ones and make them look nice again. If they manage to get hold of caps and carton, then they sell them as new too.
