Car was not running properly

Volker just read the Petronix info and it says the coil must have a minimum of 3.0ohms for a six cylinder..Or buy there 40.000 volt version with internal resistance.I will need to see what the BMW one is rated at.

1 224 509 063 is a power resistor with 0,9 Ohm.

Hi Volker.Im pleased to say after many weeks of trying to get the car running properly I've found the problem.It was a faulty throttle switch.also I was give the incorrect information as to how to set it.I have replaced the switch and have fitted a new coil.My Petronix is the so called Igniter one which is a black module and with this there should be a 3 ohmn coil so I bought there version.and I'm pleased to say the old car is back to her normal self ! Going like a rocket.
