250CE MAP sensor

Thank you again for your quick reply. At the moment, my only last question has to do with the MAP sensor. I was fortunate to have found the earlier 0280 100 006 as NOS, but your Appendix states that my 1972 250CE corresponds to the newer 0280 100 025. Are they still interchangeable?

Hi Archie,

well your car will run with the 0 280 100 006 . But 2 hints:

1. The 0 280 100 025 is leaner and will make you save fuel. It is also the right MAP sensor for your 72 ECU
2. Check the 3 digit year of make either on the upper right rivet or on the back of the MAP sensor. If it is NOT made in the 60s or 70s, don't trust it
