That's how to deal with Dr-DJet

Hi,

this morning I had a surprise. Door bell rang early morning and a man handed a bouqet of flowers to me. No kidding, he meant me. In my mind I checked with which women I have recently flirted and which of them knew my address. Hmmm no idea

I asked who had sent the bouquet but the man did not know. I took it inside and looked curiously at the letter attached. Then I undestood. I have a fan in Denmark named Peter whom I had recently helped with his MB 450 SL D-Jetronic. He had sent me several videos of his bad running car and I have even asked him not to send so many videos to me as it overloads my mail quota.

So Peter thank you very much. I try to remember when I last received flowers. And now I remember. Nearly 20 years ago when I started a job in Germany I received flowers from my former team to wish a good start.

Peter I am overwhelmed and thank you very very much. Of course you have now set a benchmark for everyone else.

....and I might add that the engine is now running beautifully - which is by far due to outstanding help from you and partly due to my poor quality assurance of my own work.

I was just going to write to you to ensure that you have seen my Thank you to you - now it is not necessary any more. I am very proud that I could help you in remote consulation and that we together managed to get your car back to its beautiful life.

And I love the sight and smell of the flower bouquet in my kitchen every morning !
