Fuel pulsation damper w114 250 CE

what makes you ask all these questions? Just get the right parts and install them.

Damper near fuel pump has no diaphragm and spring and is purely for noise reduction. Damper near engine compensates pressure peaks by diaphragm and spring.

That must be my engineering back ground, sorry for that.

Yesterday i found a second hand fuel damper the 0 280 161 001 together with a bracket and gummi rubber buffer.
I think i found also the right location for installation. Below the battery support plate (left hand side of the car)  there is a hole which fits the counter sunk bolt to attach the damper bracket.
