Injector compatibility between Mercedes 250CE and 280se 4.5

Hi D-jetronic fellows,
Hoping to find answers to 2 questions:

Question 1.
I have a 73' Mercedes 280se 4.5 and was wondering if the injectors out of a Mercedes 250CE with part# 0280 150 023 will fit my 4.5 with Injectors part# 0280 150 036 ?
I have had a hard time locating injectors but was lucky to find some out of 250 CE.

Question 2.
I have one injector that has the injector cap missing at the tip of the injector. (plastic tip)
Is it essential to have the plastic cap on the injector tip or is it ok if its missing?

So no green ones from 250 CE do NOT fit to a 450 engine. And cap is for protection and not essential.

The injectors don't fit. They have a different flow rate (blue / green), look at the compendium: jetronic.org/en/d-jetronic/injector

The missing pintle-cap is no essantial problem - you could buy new ones at any ASNU store or from aliexpress or just pull them off from the used injectors you own and install them

Yes, it's difficult to find original Bosch-injectors. But it's easy to find the China-crap-ones that are sold worldwide, even with the Bosch-# 0280150036 stamped on.

The blue injectors you need were installed in other car brands, too - Volvo, BMW, Citroen and others.
Maybe you have more luck using this information - look for blue injectors, but not the crap ones with a totally different nozzle.

And mostly a professional cleaning of the injectors is useful - search for 'ASNU'-specialists.

in order to reemphasize what Norbert wrote: I would not use injectors with number 0280150036 that are not made by Bosch. New ones from China with same no. are different.
