Thanks. I will see to doing this. Side question Dr. DJet, what is your opinion on this 123ignition D jet distributor? I believe my distributor is original.

completely useless. You already have a breaker controlled transistor ignition.

Oh, this distributor doesn't replace the injection trigger points? I somewhat think I understand the reasoning behind why there is no wear on the ignition points since the high current has been moved to ignition control unit, but the injection points are also in the distributor and are a wear item correct? And injector points are NLA? Therefore in the future if I am unable to replace the points this distributor would do both injection points and ignition points? Apologies if I am completely missing the point.

Hi Ethan,
  1. there is an official Bosch repair kit for 8-cyl trigger porints
  2. trigger points wear off very slowly, same as ignition breaker contact
  3. You can readjust trigger points
  4. Or you can also replace cams with our repair kit, even for 4 and 6-cyl trigger points (not Volkswagen)
