Merhaba Rosi,
höş geldin to our Web site. What car are you running and how did you get Rosi as first name. Does not sound like Istanbul at all. I know it is impossible to import an Oldtimer to Turkey.
If you want: I can bring one measuring gauge with me to Turkey mid oj July if you fear transport costs and customs.

Hello
I just saw your reply. I was out for vacation. did not get online.
My name is Juan. I use my wife ' s name as login name. we are Spanish descendants living in Istanbul Turkey.
Contrary to what you think we have many old-timers in Turkey. pls check the links ww.klasikotomobil.org., www.pasagaleri.com , www.keymuseum.com , www.atamanmuseum.com , www.rmk-museum.org.tr are a few examples.
Many people import cars from the united states and restore them.
the car I bought was a wreck which looked like a princess because of the good paint job it had. like a trojan horse.
anyhow I have restored the MB 350 SLC 1972 to a very good condition by using original parts from DB. in the power point presentation you can see the transformation.
I have a problem with the engine. I am a member of www.107sl-club.de . I wrote to them and they asked me to make a tip to toe examination to find out what is wrong.
the whole engine electrical cable system was re-manufactured locally by using original sockets which I bought from Sweden from a Bosch parts dealer. the manifold pressure sensor was rebuilt in Bosch Germany. I did not touch the ECU as many say it is very solid. the Drosselklappenschalter' s electronic board was replaced which I found on the internet. The sensor on the air filter was replaced with an original one. The pressure of the fuel was not right as I had the wrong pump. This was replaced with an original one recently. Now the pressure reads exactly 2,0 Bar (see attached picture). I did many other things. My mechanic tells me that I need to change the Impulsauslöser. He has a lot of experience with such cars as he started in a MB shop in Istanbul at a very young age. Before replacing the part I want to make sure that it is the problem. If you give me the dimensions I can have it done here in the industrial zone. Since it took me two years to fully restore the care I have met many talented people who create wonders with their hands.
My problem is when I push the throttle just a little at a certain level the engine starts to choke (and 1500-1800 rpm) this repeats around 3500-3800 rpm as well. but when I hit hard on the gas pedal the problem goes away. the spark plug cables have been renewed as well.
If you have any ideas pls let me know
regards from Turkey
