Hi Marco,

if you installed the rotor in exact position when piston 1 is in TDC showing on mark in distributor housing it is just a rough point that should let the engine start. Now you need a strobsocpe to verify that ignition timing according to workshop manual (here in Jetropedia) is correct at idle, 1500 rpm, 3000 rpm and also with or without vacuum retard.

I would be surprised if it is okay by just putting rotor on housing mark. You must verify dwell and timing at the 3 rpms mentioned in workshop manual incl. vacuum. I use Equus strobe for that.
