Hi,

in pre-catalytic cars one would expect CO % times 100 ppm as HC. So 2% CO and 200 ppm HC roughly.

The vehicle will be in the ignition on position.
I will remove the throttle switch socket.
I will do the setting later. This order is correct ?

Hi Unknown,

no need to switch on ignition. When you keep ignition on for long, it will grill your ignition coil and power resistors and ignition module.

Thank you for your answer. Another question;
I read your answer to another question on the forum about the Map sensor.
You said that the map sensor vacuum clock should be - 0.5 bar while the car was idling at idle. I measured with the clock. It increased to -0.3 bar when the vehicle was cold, and -0,4.5 bar after warming up. Is this normal? Does it pose a problem? Or should I increase the amount of air from the intake manifold adjustment screw to -0.5 bar?
