but as Volker says it's a 030 !! it might be necessary to find a 037 !!

Auto atlanta is not good ?

Hi,
as I wrote before 030 is just a code for the production date. Volker asked for the code because late productions are often faulty. Your unit is early produced, but not the correct fitment.

You need a MPS # 0 280 100 043 (search for 0280100043 ) for the original, not modified engine.

No, this item is declared as air-temperature-sensor.

You need the engine temperature sensor <cylinder-head-temperature>.
Choose the correct type for your setup.

There are different versions for the 914 2.0 depending on the model year.

Have a look at Brad Anders page to find the correct part.

Incorrect!!!

This part is a thermo-time-switch and connected to the cold-start-valve. Not an engine temp sensor!
