Hi Pierre,

well injectors must deliver fuel while cranking the engine even without trigger contacts. Pin 18 on ECU should be high from starter and then ECU drives injectors anyhow.

What you want to tell with your spark plugs, I did not understand. I fear that you use a bad translation program.

Hello Volker
here I finished my new injectors for D-Jetronic and tested my injectors again, the injectors are very well tested.
but when everything is mounted on the car, the injectors do not give gasoline.
the pressure of the pump is good (2 bars)
but nothing comes out of the injectors.
the engine runs very well when I put the start pilot.
Is it the ECU now?

Hi Lux Pierre,

if you do not see injectors spraying even while cranking the engine, yes then it must be cabling or ECU. Before you send it somewhere make sure that it is the right ECU for your car.

hello yes this is the calculator that I had with the engine that I buy in Bochum.
I just did a last test, I put the old distributor with the plug of the shield I put the contact the pump starts 2s! ok
and then I slowly turn the dispenser by hand and the injectors are well distributed. but there is only a small jet for me too little fuel for my engine to run normally.
so the ecu is good!
it's the 044 with wealth trimming

but
It seems that the electronic control unit controls the injectors well, but does not open them !

Good evening,
Sorry to bother you …

This is the story :
This morning, I reassembled the injectors and started the engine for a final test.
Immediately, the engine went very well but goes straight to 2,500 laps.

As a matter of fact, I noticed that I had forgotten to put up the air hose that goes from the cold injector to the butterfly box. (Yes, stupid me!)
So finally my electronic control unit goes perfectly well and the engine was suffocating for a lack of air.

Now I need to understand why, after all the setting back I made, the engine is doing some “bang” and why the cylinders 3 and 4 become very very hot.
Have you any idea of what I am doing wrong ?

hot cylinders normally mean a lean mixture or wrrong ignition timing. I do not imagine what you mean by bang.

Hi Lux-Pierre,

a backfire normally means wrong ignition timing. You should start to verify there. Injector cleaning is done by ASNU services. I am sure there is someone in Beldium.

Good morning all

here is news of my Porsche 914 2 L GB of 130 hp

I bought 4 new injectors. and finally she turns, but my lambda tells me that when I put the gas, at times it does not give enough gas.

here I received my new TPS 914 2 L GB
the engine is well tuned, on the slow.
but when I put the gas in the middle regimes, not enough benzine? + - around 2,500 and 3,500 rounds.
but in 4 th no problem everything is fine from 4000 laps.

just noticed this...
Does this mean your engine isn't in original condition, was tuned to 'nominal' 130 hp?

Is the camshaft you posted in the last posting installed?

A D-Jetronic system is 'composed' to run a specific engine with specific parts. The D-Jetronic-system isn't able to detect changes in the engine setup and can't run a modified engine.
You will have to 'compose' a new setup for your modified engine.

Exactly,

a modified engine means that your original components do not fit any more. D-Jetronic is an open loop control, not closed loop. Inside ECU there are various function blocks that are adapted to your original engine. One of them is filling curve of your engine. That reflects how much air is really suched into engine at which revs. It is never really 2.0 l, always less. It depends on air flow resistance in manifold and valves etc. You have changed this definitely with a sports cam. how yould the ECU know that?
