No, this item is declared as air-temperature-sensor.

You need the engine temperature sensor <cylinder-head-temperature>.
Choose the correct type for your setup.

There are different versions for the 914 2.0 depending on the model year.

Have a look at Brad Anders page to find the correct part.

Norbert

Incorrect!!!

This part is a thermo-time-switch and connected to the cold-start-valve. Not an engine temp sensor!

No, this is the air temp sensor.

The engine <cylinder head> temp sensor is under the cover, you see the cable hanging there near the cylinder inlets.

A MPS that doesn't hold vacuum can't regulate the mixture and signalizes 'full throttle' to the ECU.

Hi Pierre,
noone in the whole world can sell you a 0280130205 temp sensor.

The 0280130205 is a thermo time switch as I wrote before.

Once more for the very last time:
- the 0280130205 is not a temperature sensor, it's a thermo time switch
- the item you found at autoatlanta is an air temperature sensor, not an engine temperature sensor.
The connector shows that, too: Pin 1 and Pin 13 are used for the air temp sensor.

Open the link I posted <Brad Allen>, identify the correct sensor for the engine temp 'cylinder head' using the parts table there and buy it. It's a sensor with a cable directly attached to it.

Norbert
