Hi Norbert.
The photo is correct......in that it is a close-up of the MAP sensor aperture with the potting/epoxy removed (from directly above).
Regards,
Rhys

I understand and wonder why there is no screw at all.
I believe in Volker asked for a photo of the inside of the opened sensor.
Regards
Norbert

I had missed the point of Volker's request - in that dismantling the unit was requested.
The unit has its original rivets intact. I have been a little reluctant to dismantle it further and risk Bosch receiving it - in a dismantled condition ........that discourages any repair effort on their part (?)
Regards,
Rhys

Hi Rhys,
no that was all I wanted to see. I now know that your MAP sensor is without slotted screw. Whil still wondering how one could remove this without opening the rivets and housing, that means 2 things:
1. Your MAP sensor's armature shaft is in an undefined position. Maybe slotted screw is completely screwed inside
2. Most probably your MAP sensor is left unusable if parts are missing or destroyed by that
Of course you are free to open it and check whether you find the slotted screw. But please be careful when removing the rivets. Do not drill a wider hole in the housing. If you find the slotted screw inside, and if the thread holding it is still okay, I might be able to repair it. If not I will have to wait and see how Chris's MAP sensors perform. If I see that I can tune an 011 to match that curve, then I would buy one from eBay and do so.
But first we have to wait. If you find the slotted screw and proper thread in your MAP sensor, then I might also repair yours. Please do not touch the coil and its springs inside.

Hi Rhys,
when I look at the picture, it looks like someone has drilled into the slotted screw. As a consequence it is now unnaturally screwed as deep as possible inside forcing the armature shaft to be always fully in coil. That means more than full-load to ECU.
I might be wrong, but that's what it looks like.
