And in the same book: Modelljahr 1970 PKW-Typen USA-Ausfuhrung page 35 there was also a picture of the 2 resistors and the coil.

Hi Volker,

Same book page 33. Look there are 2 times shielding (dashed lines) so also from the ignition control box pin 16 onto the resistor 0.6 Ohm

Hi Marc,

shielding des not harm. What really harms is capacitor. Use shielding as much as you like (but only ground it on one side) and remove capacitor. That is a remnant from battery ignition.
