Hi,

I repeat: A dynamic test separates the original ones from the good fakes. In static test good fakes show proper behaviour. Only bad fakes show deviation in static test.

Dear Volker,

I explained the static test procedure only because Kutluhan performed it in a very complicated and at least not correct way.

I am well aware about the fact that - to be sure - ones needs a dynamic test. As you know, I applied a proposal by Norbert: The fuel injector test device EM276.

Best regards,
Recardo

Merhaba Kutluhan,

you will need a timing pistol for verifying and adjusting ignition timing. Good ones also measure dwell and rpm. Then you check in our 107 SL workshop manual chapter 07.5-500 . It also contains your ignition distributor.

Merhaba Volker,
Do you want me to send you my MAP sensors? 012 old type and new type? Can you test or retune if adjustments deviate over time?

Best Regards,
Kutluhan,
