Where is Bosch Classic Infos? was created by Dr-DJet
Hi,
Bosch Classic - other than Lucas, Siemens or VDO - has always been a very fine company when it was about providing us with informations on historical documents for our classic cars. I have praised Bosch several times for that. It took me much more time to document Lucas supplied D-Jetronic in Jaguar XJ12. And when I tried to compile Thermo time switch data made by VDO, I failed. Robert Bosch GmbH distinguished itself in a very pleasant way from the rest.. We had:
That is how we classic car owners were able to help ourselves and find right spare parts from Bosch. I always appreciated and could help many forum members with such informations.
A few years ago we also had Bosch Service Manuals covering topics like:
3 months ago Bosch suddenly switched off Car and product information on Bosch Classic Knowledge. Since then we are continuously put off. It shall restart on Sep, 1, then Oct, 1 and now they write
When I had asked about status and restart mid September I did not receive any answer. So I feel like a Deja-Vu of the situation I faced with Bosch Service manuals. Also there Bosch announced years ago that they stopped selling the old ones in order to improve the quality. I even created an Eglisch M110 service manual on their request for them. Result is known. Use Bosch Classic official email address and telephone and ask for these informations. Let Bosch not tell us in a few months that no one is interested and therefore there is no need of such informations. Please publish their answers here.

- Equipment lists for all our cars even listing which components was used in which year
- Product information listed by Bosch and OEM numbers
- Cross usage lists to show where else that product was used
- Spare parts lists
- Specification lists for products. Here we could find important hints.
- Fotos or schemes of products
- Replacements, reproductions and availability
- operation manuals of histroric instruments
