How do I find out the number of the finger suitable for my distributor/engine?
The old one I had that was replaced by the Bosch Service has the following nos:
1234 332
196
6600    
Since I do not rev up the engine to such speeds and the engine never worked fine I do not know If this one had a problem or not.
I have asked the mechanic to give me the no of the new one so I can check

...this one is for a porsche 911, should work but has a different rpm cut-off, 6600 u/min !
