Hi All,
Hope one of the guru's out there can help, I'm rebuilding a 280SL that has been laid up for 15 years, and have got the motor running however it's idling really high (2200-2500 rpm) and running roughly and is also "hunting". The fuel pressure is correct and I've replaced Fuel pump, filter, also replaced Plug, Leads, cap and rotor. I'm beginning to think it may have a Vacuum issue??
Can any point me in the right direction or at least give me something else I should look for. Any help would be appreciated

Hi Russell,

an idle-speed of more than 2000 rpm definitely speaks for a vacuum leak.
