Vintage Bosch Motortesters

Könnte mir jemand helfen, Reparatur- oder Wartungshandbücher für meine alten Bosch Motortester zu finden? Kennt jemand ein Forum oder eine Gruppe von Leuten, die diese Diagnosegeräte reparieren? Ich lebe in Kanada und habe mehrere aus Deutschland in den letzten drei Jahren gekauft, um meinen 1984 Mercedes 280 SL beizubehalten.

Could anyone assist me to locate repair or service manuals for my vintage Bosch Motortesters? Does anyone know of a forum or group of people who repair these diagnostic devices? I live in Canada and have purchased several from Germany in the last three years to maintain my 1984 Mercedes 280 SL.

I do not know a general forum for repair of vintage Bosch testers. But maybe tell us which ones you are looking for. Bosch KTS repairs are available.

Volker, I have several; Alternator Tester EFAW192, Exhaust Gas EFAW173, Unterdruck Tester EFAW138A, Zundungs EFAW105A, P600, plus more....Mike

I do not have any documents for those. Manuals you can find on Bosch Classic.There was a repair service for old testers at Leipzig once. No idea whether they still operate. But you might ask Bosch Classic in Stuttgart for reference. But I am afraid that there is no real chance.

Norbert, thank you for this....this has the Operating Instructions for the remainder of my Bosch testers. I have some " Sun" diagnostic equipment as well such as a Distributor tester with Tachometer and Dwell testers. For the knowledge and benefit of forum members with other than Bosch automotive engine Analyzers, there is a forum "engineanalyzers@yahoogroups.com" which has been helpful to me

I also tried to get approved for the Yahoo group. Let us see whether they will let me in.

I got an email with German translation off to Bosch-Leipzig making inquiries about repairs or even parts for my Bosch Motortesters and I will update. Regarding the Yahoo Group, I waited for a week with no reply and I contacted the Moderator of the group to inquire and got immediate approval. It was like someone was away on holiday when I applied........Mike
