BMW 3.0 Csi

Hi, In the midst of rebuilding a CSi which was all going well until engine stopped starting. Faults is tarced to fuel injection system and seems to suggest that injectors are not pulsing. Injectors have been reconditioned as has ECU which showed a power fault and i am now scatching my head as to what else coudl eb at fault. Any ideas or suggestions would be gladly received.

Reading your manual of the subject i am concenred that the MAP sensor may be at fault, but not sure how to test it or where i could go to get it looked at.

Hi Martin,
It is not a broken diaphragm in ur MAP sensor. It could be windings, cables. Measure from ECU connector to MAP sensor primary and secondary.
My guess is rather trigger points or loose power connector. Currently running a workshop. More next week.
