Hi, thank you for the information.
I don't understand why you needed another adaptor.
While the element is a little bit shorter than the original one, it should fit into the old adaptor?
Regards
Norbert

Hi Pierre,
disadvantage of new TTS from Bosch is that it always opens for 1s minimum. You should not need that during summer.

I tried to put some pictures from my FTP, it does not work. Sorry for that.
Here are the who devices together : www.vfl-fr.com/jpierre/Fiches-Tech/Bosch...l-Time-Switch-03.jpg
Here is the probe extremity one the original one : www.vfl-fr.com/jpierre/Fiches-Tech/Bosch...l-Time-Switch-02.jpg
Here is the Bosch device : www.vfl-fr.com/jpierre/Fiches-Tech/Bosch...l-Time-Switch-01.jpg
The "probe" is shorter on the Bosch one than on the orignal TTS. Thats why I need an adapter. Note that for the B20E (4cylinder) the probe is in contact with air in a recess of the engine block (ie. not in contact with coolant). On B30E (6 cylinder engine) it is in contact with coolant. So, for 4 cylinder is does not need to drain coolant. That very practical for testings.
I did not read anywhere that the Bosch TTS activate for at least one second. You mean that even above 35C it activates 1 second ?
I'll check that.
