Two temperature sensor and trigger contact point. was created by Toshiaki Shimizu
Dear Dr. D-jetro and everybody
Happy New Year 2023. !

(1) I recently ordered the two sensors below, but the Bosch dealer in Japan said that it seems these are discontinued and that there will be no plan to make them again.

・0280130014 / Coolant temperature sensor
・0280130006 / Intake air temperature sensor

Is it true that Bosch decides to discontinue them? And are there any replacement parts available in market ?

(2) 1230090007 : Trigger contact / point

My trigger contact points (two CAMs) are worn out and it is required to replace. I also asked Bosch dealer in Japan if I can ask them to replace them. But he said that no service is available. Is there anyone who can repair and replace it?

Thank you and best regards

Shimizu

Hi Shimizu,

it is correct that both sensors are out of production. You can find them as used ones or seldomly NOS.

For trigger points I have a repair set with new cams and shafts. Bosch does not have a repair set for them.

Dear Dr D-Jet

Thank you for giving the information, well noted about sensors.

Could you tell me more detail about the repair for trigger contact CAM? How much does it cost, how to order and how to pay?

Thanks and regards

Shimizu

Dear Dr D-Jet

I could find attached coolant temperature sensor on the web market as a replacement for Bosch 0280130014.
Do you have any information that it can be used as a replacement for Boscht?

Hi Shimizu,

I cannot tell you what the resistance curve of this "replacement" sensor is. I would not trust if someone tells me that he has made a replacement without a detailed spec od resistance curve. Jutst thread is not enough. And as far as I can see also connector is different.
