Hi All
i have a 450SL Djetronic USA
After a lot of work it runs OK now and emission is OK too
however
when it starts with warm motor, like a stop to refuel, the engine will start, idle OK, but badly respond to accelarator, it will backfire and fart
this lasts for a minute or so, sometimes it dies out
After this it goes back to normal
cold start is OK
any idea of what this can be?

Hi Kees and Welcome to the forum,
you should check the system holds fuel pressure after engine shutoff.
The system should hold most of the pressure for a longer period.
Maybe one ore more injectors or the cold-start valve are dripping.

All injectors were revised in sets and did not change the issue
Will try to measure fuel injector manifold pressure after shut down and pump off
