Effect of ethanol on the fuel circuit.

Hello,

I just read articles about the harmful effects of ethanol on the fuel hoses of old cars. So I plan to change all the hoses (and the clamps too) as a precaution by OEM new ones.

But aren't there other organs sensitive to ethanol, like the pressure regulator which has a membrane or all the gaskets ?

The objective is to prevent any fuel leakage.

before panicking: The US uses ethanol in fuel since many years and it has not negatively effected classic cars.
