Of course, I am planning to do that. For now she is at the air conditioning shop for conversion to the new type gas.

Perhaps you could add a mention in the MAP chapter advising to check that vacuum connection, as it's pretty much hidden...

I have replaced the hose of course, and the owner has enjoyed the car 3 consecutive week ends, it is truly a joy. A bit under geared, but very responsive.
The 450SLC has been sold, as well as our second W111 coupe 220SEb.
I am currently recommissioning a 250SL Pagoda, same provenance as the 350SLC, that last ran in 2002. It will be a very nice original car.
