Car models in profile - Help needed

I write in English because I also look for international help.

As we are discussing more and more KA-Jetronic, KE-Jetronic and maybe also KE-Motoronic issues here, I need to extend the car model field in profile.

Before I start that I need to look into which car models used these K-Jetronic variants. Or to be more detailled:

• Manufacturer, series, model, month/year of make (from to), market, power of engine, engine code, no of cyl, displacement

It seems harder than I believed to gather these values. Mercedes-Benz has a good system M@rs for European cars. But when it comes to cars made for USA, CDN, J, S, I, ZA, AUS and NV (low compression) there is nothing. So I check tons of tablebooks.

Then there are Bosch lists and Mini catalogues which contain many mistakes. like WUR catalogue contains MB 560 SL and 560 SLC !  Can it be ? No ! There is no 560 SLC and 560 SL is a KE-Jetronic car. These lists are very diffcult to extract from various sources. I need your help ! I have completed BMW, Opel and Porsche and still work on international Mercedes-Benz. There are so many other vendors from Audi to Volvo.

And finally I need help with programming a Joomla field plugin that allows to select and add such car models via dropdown boxes to user profile, articles, forum profile. I am also struggling with that.

Who has experience as Joomla plugin programmer and can give me a helping hand?

I would also appreciate help with the model data of all manufactureres. Only D-Jetronic is complete. KA-Jetronic in MB, BMW, DeLorean, Lamborgina, Porsche, Rolls-Royce is fairly complete. The rest is open. Any help in this reserach is also highly appreciated.

If I get no support, I will assume no interest on Jetronic user side. Then I will do the research anyhow but keep it for myself and not share it here.
