Sealings for the different injectors, D-Jetronic

Hi all!

This is regarding D-jetronic in my 1974 w116 350 SE and injectors-sealings.

When I took off the injectors, I saw that 2 are the old model.
When I order new rubber-sealings, Mercedes only have for the late model.
So, the rubber-sealing have a 0,8 mm too big hole.
Does anyone know if there are sealings for the old model somewhere.
But maybe, they will seal anyway with the upper sealing-ring changed and the pressure arm tightened.

Hi David,

IMHO you can use the newer sealing well for the injectors without pintle cap. Remember that they were also missing on latest injectors. The sealing is anyhow on the metal of the injector. Or you can buy pintle caps from Injector rehab and mount them on the old injectors.
