Tuning MB 350 SE D-Jetronic

Hi all
Now I have my w116 350 SE (D-Jetronic) running. I want to tune the engine.
But I cannot find what angle that I will use?
Do anybody know if I shall tune it before "top end center" or after, and what angle?
If you already talked about it, you have to excuse me, but I didn´t find a topic for it...

wgich angle are you talking about? Ignition timing? Then we need to know your distributors Bosch no.
