I need a new MPS/SDF for my 1974 MB 350 SL

1) I have discovered that the MPS of my '74 MB 350SL (0280100012, type 2) does not at all hold vacuum. Electrically it is within spec's (resistances measured are ok). I know that Bosch has a Classic Center that offers to restore the part, but I am wondering if anybody else might do the same or if anybody could offer a working spare part.

2) The coolant temp sensor of the same car (cant remember the number, its the standard d-jetronic sensor) looks great and measures the correct resistance between the connectors but the connectors do not have infinite resistance to ground as they measure 30 and 50 kOhm. Is this close enough to infinite resistance or is the sensor defective? It seems hard to find the coolant sensor on the marked (the same goes for the air temp sensor), does anybody have a source for these parts?
