ECU broken on my Mercedes 250CE W114 was created by CM.Bosman
Hi All

Let me quick introduce myself. I'm Charles and the proud owner of a 1970 mercedes 250CE. I have this car now for 4 years and really enjoying it

When I bought the car it was only running on LPG. The fuel system was not working. This winter the time came to start investigating and reparing the fuel system. so after replacing the fuel pump, Map sensor cleaning the injectors etc we came to the ECU. It appears the the autput stage (not sure if this is the correct word) is broken.
I would like this unit to be repaired but don't know where to go. Companies I called ECU repair in Helmond are not repairing this type of unit. (0 280 001 004)

Can somebody get me in contact with a repair company/person?

thanks
Charles

Hi Charles,

I can help you of course. :Help: Will contact you. You should also do the vacuum leakage test on your MAP sensor. Pull a -0,5 Bar vacuum with a hand pump and verify how wuickly vacuum drops to -0.45 Bar. If that is faster than 10 seconds, you also have a usual problem there with torn diaphragm. And as a newbie I also recommend the trigger contact measuing gauge of nordfisch to you.. Just contact him vua Private Message.

You will find every possible Knowhow for repair of D-Jetronic here.
